General Conditions of Sale (GCS)

Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions define the terms applicable to clearance services provided by Thomas Pérot, sole trader operating under the French micro-entrepreneur regime.

Services Offered

Clearance of apartments, basements, and commercial premises
Sorting, removal, and recycling of bulky items
Optional resale of recoverable and valuable items

Pricing and Estimates

Each job is subject to a personalized estimate.
Pricing depends on the volume, accessibility, type of items, required labor, and the resale potential of recovered goods.

Payment Terms

A deposit is systematically required to confirm the quote and secure the scheduled date of intervention.
The remaining balance is due immediately upon completion of the service, on site, after the work has been reviewed.
Accepted payment methods: cash, bank transfer, or check (subject to prior approval).
In the event of late payment, penalties may apply in accordance with applicable legal provisions.

Right of Withdrawal

For individual customers, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply in cases where the service is requested to be performed immediately, in accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations are accepted free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled service.
In case of late cancellation or unnecessary travel, fees may be charged (travel costs, blocked time slot, etc.).

Liability

The business cannot be held liable for damages:

To items not identified as fragile in advance
Resulting from missing or incomplete information about the site
Caused by third parties or faulty installations

Valuation of Items

When certain items or furniture have resale value, this can:

Reduce the overall cost of the service
Lead to an agreement for free collection without compensation

Disputes

In the event of a dispute, an amicable resolution will be sought first.
If no agreement is reached, the matter will fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.
